What ages do you take?
From 6 weeks to 5 years. Children move through three rooms as they grow — Caterpillars for 6 weeks to 2 years, Butterflies for 2 to 3 years and Buzzy Bees for 3 to 5 years.
What are your opening hours?
7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
What sessions can I book?
By the hour, half days, short sessions, a school day, a full day or a full week, plus breakfast and after school club. The full list is on our fees and funding page. Ring us for current prices for your days.
Can I use my funded hours here?
Yes. Tax-Free Childcare and the 15 and 30 hour entitlements can all be used with us. The government childcare portal explains what your family is entitled to, and we will work it through with you.
Is there a discount for brothers and sisters?
Yes, 5% if you have more than one child with us.
What do the children eat?
Home made healthy meals each day. Every member of our team is qualified in food safety, and allergies and dietary needs are planned for individually — tell us and we will work around it.
What do I need to pack in their bag?
A coat and wellies every day — we get outside whatever the weather — spare clothes, nappies and wipes if they still need them, sun cream when it's warm, and a comforter if it helps them settle. No need for a water bottle, we provide drinks throughout the day. There's a fuller list on our Policies and parent info page.
How will I know what my child has been doing?
We use EYWorks, so daily updates come straight to your phone. It never replaces talking to you — you will still get an in-depth handover at the door.
Do you support children with SEND?
Yes. The support comes to your child inside the room they belong in for their age. There is no separate SEN room here, and there never will be. More on how we support SEND.
Do you run a holiday club?
Yes — Allstars Adventures runs through every school holiday. We publish the holiday plan on our socials, so follow us for what is coming up.
How do I come and look round?
Book a visit or ring us on 01642 609888.
How do I secure a place?
Come and have a look round first, then fill in a registration form and the place is yours. There is no deposit to pay.
Is there parking?
Yes — right outside. You can pull up at the door, get them in, and get off to work.
I walk here. Can I leave the pushchair?
Of course. Leave it with us for the day and pick it up at home time.
Can my baby still have my milk at nursery?
Yes. Bring your expressed milk in labelled and dated, and we will store it properly and give it to them as you have asked.
